Housing Office, Personnel Office, President’s Office, College Services, Plant Operations, and Vice President for Administration
1951–1992

Implemented several significant changes as Director of Plant Operations:  reassigned available space within the Corporation Yard, created a central supply system, developed a Work Order and Inventory Control System, and created an Enterprise Accounting system to allow charge back.

Served on Campus Planning Committee (1970–1992).

Chair of City of Chico Appeals Board (1972–75).

Downtown Chico Business Association (1985–1992).

Wore many hats during his Chico State career:  Student Housing Maintenance, Campus Housing Manager, Campus Personnel Officer, Executive Assistant to the President, Director of College Services, Director of Plant Operations, and Associate Vice President for Administration (received AB and MA degrees from Chico State).

Represented the campus and the CSU as Housing Manager in the design and construction of the first permanent residence halls (Shasta Hall and Lassen Hall).

Facilitated the implementation of the Fiscal Administration Committee (FAC) on campus as Executive Assistant to President Robert Hill (also, survived!); served on FAC Committee from 1967–69 and 1985–92.
