- Fall 2023
January 2: Wildcat Scholarship Application opens
February 15: Wildcat Scholarship Application closes
March 2: FAFSA or CADAA priority deadline to be considered for California state grants
May 1: Exceptional Circumstances Appeals, Satisfactory Academic Appeal and Maximum Unit Appeals open.
May 16: Federal Direct Loan and Parent PLUS Loan applications open
June 1: Priority deadline to submit To Dos documents
July 21: Parent PLUS loan and Federal Direct Loan priority deadline
July 26: Registration and tuition fee payment deadline. Aid must be accepted to defer fees.
July 28: Alternative Private Educational Loan priority deadline
August 17: Financial aid refunds begin. Financial aid refunded to students enrolled for the fall term. To receive a financial aid refund, students must have excess aid after tuition fees have been paid and no pending holds or 2022/2023 To Do List items.
August 21:
- Fall semester begins
- Short-term Loans available
August 31: First possible refund for students receiving Alternative loans
September 18:
- University Census: Awards reduced or canceled for less than full-time enrollment
- Deadline to submit a Satisfactory Academic Appeal or Maximum Unit Appeal
- Consortium Agreement deadline
November 1: Last day to submit Exceptional Circumstances Appeal for fall-only students
December 1: Federal Direct, PLUS and Alternative loan application deadline for fall-only students
December 12: Last day to apply for a Short-term Loan. Must submit application by 9 AM.
December 15: Fall semester ends
- Spring 2024
December 7: Registration and tuition fee payment deadline. Aid must be accepted to defer fees.

January 22:
- Spring semester begins
- Short-term loan application opens at 9 AM.
February 1: First possible refund for students receiving Alternative loans
February 15: Wildcat Scholarship Application closes for 2024-25
February 16:
- University Census: Awards reduced or canceled for less than full-time enrollment
- Submit a Satisfactory Academic Appeal or Maximum Unit Appeal by February 16 in order to allow sufficient time for processing.
- Consortium Agreement deadline

April 2: FAFSA or CADAA priority deadline to be considered for California state grants
April 15: Last day to submit Exceptional Circumstances Appeal for 2023-24.
April 26: Last day to submit a Federal Direct Loan types-of-aid/loans/direct-loans, Parent PLUS Loan, and Private Alternative Loan application. Apply by 5 PM.
May 14: Deadline to apply for a Short-term Loan. Must submit application by 9 AM.
May 17: Spring semester ends

May 1: Exceptional Circumstances Appeals, Satisfactory Academic Appeal and Maximum Unit Appeals open.
May 13: Federal Direct Loan and Parent PLUS Loan applications open
June 1: Priority deadline to submit To Dos documents
July 8: Alternative Private Educational Loan priority deadline
July 19: Parent PLUS loan and Federal Direct Loan priority deadline
July 31: Registration and tuition fee payment deadline. Aid must be accepted to defer fees.

- Consortium Agreement deadline
November 1: Fall-only students submit Exceptional Circumstances Appeal by November 1 to allow sufficient time for processing.
November 25: Federal Direct, PLUS and Alternative loan application deadline for fall-only students
December 17: Last day to apply for a Short-term Loan. Must submit application by 9 AM.
December 20: Fall semester ends

November 18: Alternative Private Educational Loan priority deadline
November 29: Parent PLUS loan and Federal Direct Loan priority deadline
