Customer Service
Customer service representatives are available by phone and at our walk-up windows to answer your financial aid questions and to schedule appointments.
Requested documents may be submitted as follows:
- Dropped off at our customer service walk-up windows in Student Services Center 250
- Placed in the secure Express Service Drop Box located on the 2nd floor of the SSC, next to the elevators
- Faxed to 530-898-6883. We recommend that you call 530-898-6451 ten minutes later to confirm receipt and legibility.
- Mailed to our office address, below
Appointments
Financial Aid advisors are available by appointment (by phone or in–person) to help you with special problems, technical questions, appeals, budgeting, and general financial aid inquiries. Regular appointments may be scheduled two weeks in advance. Available slots are posted on Wednesdays for the following two weeks. Walk-in appointments are available same-day only, either by calling in (530-898-6451) or by inquiring at the window. We advise students to contact us early to get a slot. If you cannot make a scheduled appointment, please call and cancel, or change to a phone appointment, so another student may be accommodated. If you are ill, please stay home and call in instead.
