Finding a Job
To earn your Work-Study award you must be hired for a Work-Study position. You are not guaranteed a job if awarded Work-Study, but most students who want to work are able to find employment. The Student Employment Office, located in Room 270 of the Student Services Center, is available to help you locate Work-Study jobs and other job opportunities.
Student employment staff can provide instructions for accessing the 24-hour job referral system on the Web. You will be able to search current job listings, create a personal profile for potential employers to view, and obtain application instructions for jobs that interest you. Work-Study jobs are competitive. You are advised to view updated job listings frequently and follow instructions completely. To utilize the services of the Student Employment Office, students may register through the JobCat Referral System.
