N E W S

The University has many exciting plans for the near future. In July 2005 the CSU Board of Trustees approved the California State University, Chico Master Plan. Among the many plans incorporated in this plan is the new Student Services Center, scheduled to break ground Fall 2006. Close on the heels of this new facility is the new Wildcat Activity Center, Student Housing, Taylor Hall Replacement, and the First Street Master Plan.

Construction will begin Fall 2006 on the new Student Services Center (SSC). This building will be a four level, 120,000 square foot facility. The SSC will serve as a one-stop shop for prospective and current students. The SSC building has been designed to obtain the LEED Gold Certification.
