The new Student Services Center will not be complete until spring of 2008, however the computer animation of this building has been complete since fall 2005. Using architectural blueprints as a reference, this computer visualization of the Student Services Center was modeled and textured in Academic Technologies' Computer Graphics lab.
In addition to creating the building, the Computer Graphics lab at CSU, Chico built the trees and campus environment seen in this animation. Construction of the three-dimensional models and the animation of the Student Services Center were part of a nine-month project to graphically show numerous new buildings and new landscaping in the CSU, Chico Master Plan.
