First Street Master Plan
A conceptual plan for First Street is being designed. The half-mile long corridor in the heart of the campus will be divided into three districts: historic, civic, and recreation. The first phase of the renovation plans--the Civic Distric--is the courtyard at the new Student Services Center. The courtyard between the new building and the library allows space for civic engagement by students, faculty, and staff. The First Street renovation will be phased over the coming years as projects along this corridor are built, including the Wildcat Recreation Center and Arts & Humanities Building projects.
