Investment Portfolio
Being a member of the Finance Club enables you to take part in an active investment portfolio headed by Investment Director Andre Libert. (This is actual money and is part of the Finance Club.) You will have the opportunity to voice your input on which securities the Club should invest in and talk about your investment ideas.
Also, students will have a chance to learn strategies that investment professionals use to build portfolios. By taking part in this portion of the club you can earn units by signing up for the FINA 399-01 special topics course in portfolio management.
The portfolio is managed by Financial Advisor and CSU, Chico Alumni Mike McCullough from Stifel Nicolaus. Students will have a chance to communicate directly with Mike and learn valuable information on what it’s like to be a professional in the finance industry.
