Interior Painting

Facilities Management provides repainting every 15 years at no cost to departments. Departments have the option of paying to have a room painted on an earlier cycle. If a department would like to pay to have a room painted, an estimate will be provided which will include labor and materials costs.

For off-cycle painting requests please complete a Project Request Form and submit it to Facilities Management for estimation. Departments must approve estimated costs and provide billing account information prior to any work being performed for off-cycle painting. Colors must be selected from the approved campus pallete of colors below:

Painting costs include repair of minor blemishes and existing holes, preparation of wall surface, and application of one or two coats of paint depending on coverage needs.

Choose from twenty-one basic colors. Accent colors may be used for trim and on one wall in a typical room.

State Cost: $37.93/hour plus materials
Auxillary Cost: $44.64/hour plus materials
