Daily Cleaning in Offices
- Empty trash receptacles and replace plastic liners that are torn or obviously soiled
- Replace light bulbs as needed
- Check office floors for spills
- Spot clean floors as needed
Weekly Cleaning in Offices
- Dust mop or sweep non-carpeted floors completely
- Damp mop non-carpeted floors completely
- Vacuum carpeted floors completely
- Spot clean inside/outside of trash receptacles
- Damp wipe and disinfect contact surfaces such as push plates, door handles, and hand rails
Annual Cleaning in Offices (majority of work done during summer months)
- All hard surface floors are stripped and waxed
- Carpets are shampooed using the Hot Water Extraction (HWE) Method
Frequency of Custodial Cleaning
