Assistance

To request financial assistance in caring for a lost, injured, or homeless animal, complete this form and e-mail it to Friends of Animals. Include a description of the situation and the amount you are requesting. The advisory committee will review the request for assistance and determine whether assistance is approved.

If approved, the amount may vary and a copy of the receipt(s) showing the expenses incurred is required prior to payment.

Additionally, the advisory committee will determine whether payment will be made to the requestor or to the veterinary clinic where the expenses were incurred.

The mission of PAWS of Chico Spay & Neuter Program is to reduce the cat and dog overpopulation in the greater Chico area. We provide financial assistance to pet owners who need help with the cost of having their cat or dog spayed or neutered. We educate our community on the importance and benefits of spaying and neutering.
