The University Foundation

The University Foundation, California State University, Chico was organized and incorporated as a nonprofit California corporation in 1940, with a mission to support and enhance campus projects and programs. In 1997, The Foundation's function became solely philanthropic, and as such became the steward of gifts and endowments for the entire campus.

A gift to The Foundation is an investment in the future of Chico State, a gift that helps to ensure the success of our students. A governing board provides fiduciary oversight and endowment management, and serves to engage parents and the community in charitable giving.
