Frequently Asked Questions

Why does Chico State charge for the use of its facilities?

All CSU campuses are required to be reimbursed for use of state resources by non-state entities and off-campus users. This system-wide policy, Executive Order 1000, was established by the Chancellor’s Office in July 2007 to ensure effective oversight of state funds.

What's changing?

Normal university hours have been expanded, giving users more options for scheduling on-campus events.
