Nice proposed amendment to include “student designed plaque recognizing the history of Trinity Commons.” Amendment approved. After much discussion about these proposed changes, motion passed for postponement of the vote until the revised document could be reviewed entire and sent to EC for feedback. Postponement of the vote was approved. Kotar will send out the edited document for review.
5. Proposed revision to FPPP Section 8, for implementation of online Student Evaluation of Teaching (Action Item)
Guests: Eddie Vela,
Kotar proposed that online format be the default with option for individual faculty members to request paper versions to be administered during the same time period. FPPP states that departments may select their own questions. Discussion continued whether or not departments may choose to include aggregate data in SET reports to faculty. The decision to include or not include this statement in the proposed revision remained unresolved. Kotar motioned to move to senate as an action item without the inclusion of aggregate data. Motion passed.
6. Proposed revision to EM 02-116, Policy on Campus Behavior and Campus Violence Prevention (Introduction Item)
Kotar moved postponement of this item pending further information and research. Postponement was approved.
9. Adjourn: Meeting adjourned at 4:12 PM
