-- Congratulations to Terry Battle: she won staff employee of the year.
-- Russ announced MESA Day (Math Engineering and Science Awareness) this week.

-- Next week International festival, held at Plaza this year.
-- Relay for Life this weekend.

4. Replacement of EM 96-38 Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities – Action Item

-- motion by Schurr, Title 5 and EO 970 moved to appendices, seconded Kotar
-- passed unanimously as amended

5. Modification of EM 02-108 Smoking Policy – Action Item

-- motion Nix-Baker replace with “may be subject to disciplinary measures” rather than “will be subject to”, seconded Whitlock
