I. April 13, 2004 minutes approved as amended.

II. Agenda approved as amended Proposed revisions to Section 16 of the FPPP added to "Other."

IV. Recruitment of Full-time Temporary Faculty - Action Item Substitute draft moved and accepted Discussion Substitute draft passed unanimously

V. FPPP 9.3: FERP Faculty on Personnel Committees - Action Item Substitute draft moved and accepted. Discussion Substitute draft passed unanimously

VI. FPPP 19.10: External Reviews of Personnel Materials - Action Item Moved and accepted as action item Discussion Item passed unanimously

VII. Report from Minority Recruitment and Retention Task Force members - none

VIII. Other Tropea moved to accept as introduction items and to fast track two revisions to Section 16 of the FPPP. Discussion Motion withdrawn. Tropea will bring his proposed revisions before FASPC in the fall. Edelman suggested that it might be appropriate for FASPC to review the University's hate speech policy given recent occurrences on campus. Ottoo addressed the status of the student withdrawal policy.
