Siegall reminded the committee regarding Wyrick’s sabbatical in the Spring.
4. Subcommittee Reports: Roberts; Siegall; Tropea
Roberts – Will re-propose suggestions for uniform course syllabus next semester. Siegall – Working on resolving issues electronically. Proposal will be submitted next semester. Reminded the committee that currently no policy change was going on, just resolving internal conflict with FPPP restructuring.Tropea – Waiting to hear about an appointed attorney in Long Beach on the speech and advocacy item.
5. Administration of Grants and Contracts (replacing EM 04-04): Action Item Mills – move (action) Jeff Wright spoke.
Jim Postma – friendly amendment.
a. Cut title down “admin of grants and contracts” Wright: title came from EC order
b. Last line 1st paragraph – leave off
c. All of article 1 needs to be italicized 1.4 old so it is o.k., everything else new.
d. 5th page – research sponsored programs eg\or cut it down to e.g. and just list a few centers. (Geographical and math and arts and centers)
e. 3.4 regarding misconduct Policies on misconduct found in FPPP - Delete 26, since issues are dealt with in FPPP.Siegall -motion – amendment to amendment 2nd – Tropea
