Jennifer Lillibridge has been a member of the nursing faculty since returning to Chico State in 2001. Prior to that time she spent 11 years working in Australia at several universities and completing doctoral work. She currently teaches nursing research, several courses in the RN-BSN nursing program and several graduate level nursing courses. She has had extensive committee work at the school, college, and university, and is currently in her second term on the Academic Senate. She was Vice Chair of the Senate during the 2007/2008 AY. During that time Jennifer learned a lot about how the university was run and enjoyed the experience of being a member of the Executive Committee. Jennifer is widely published in nursing journals; current research interests include nursing quality of care and patient safety. She worked in Fall 2008 semester while on sabbatical to develop a program of research in this area with the goal of enhancing thesis work by graduate students by having them work on projects within the program. Jennifer is a member of several nursing organizations both in the US and Australia and serves as an officer in Sigma Theta Tau, International, the nursing honor society.
