COUNSELING & WELLNESS CENTER

The Counseling Center offers free counseling services to regularly enrolled students at California State University, Chico. There are a wide variety of reasons students come to counseling:

  • resolving personal problems or conflicts
  • seeking clarification and support in making important life decisions
  • experiencing an emotional crisis due to a traumatic incident or a series of incidents
  • help in developing personal survival skills necessary to achieve personal goals.

SAFE PLACE

Support for preventing and surviving sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, harassment and hate crimes through crisis intervention, crisis counseling, resources and referrals. This resource is confidential and is not required to report any Title IX violations unless you give permission.

STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES

SHC services include basic medical care, limited mental health care, preventative care, health education, contraception, STI treatment, travel medicine and immunizations with the support of an onsite lab, pharmacy and x-ray services.
