FYE Mission Statement:

FYE serves Chico State's educational mission, particularly as that applies to first-year students in the freshman and transfer years, by means of collaborating with existing programs, developing new programs, assessing and/or collecting assessment of all FYE programs on campus that aim to support students’ development as scholars, community participants, participants in a democracy, and emerging adults.
