Saturday Investigation Station Activities

Most Saturdays during exhibit seasons, Gateway hosts a drop-in activity in the Investigation Station between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. Click on the calendar link above to see what activity is happening. All activities are included with paid admission and are subject to change.

Museum Without Walls (MWOW)

The Spring 2016 Museum Without Walls lecture series will take place in April 2016. Details will be posted soon.

Presentations begin at 7:30pm at the Gateway Science Museum. 

Entrance fee is $3 per person. Students are free with valid student ID card. Museum members are free with valid membership card. Parking in the Gateway lot requires a parking permit. Permits are $1 per hour and can be purchased at the kiosk near the museum entrance using coin, cash or credit. For additional parking options, click here.

Podcasts

Gateway Science Museum supports educational podcasts from two quality radio productions by Northstate Public Radio KCHO/KFPR, the Blue Dot Report and In a North State Garden. The Blue Dot Report is hosted by Dave Schlom. Broadcast times are Thursdays at 6:44pm and Fridays at 7:35am. For archives of past Blue Dot Reports, click here.

In a North State Garden is hosted by Jennifer Jewell. Broadcast times are two weekends per month on Saturday at 7:34am and on Sunday at 8:34am. Beginning February 4, 2016, In a North State Garden will transform into a 30-minute weekday program entitled “Cultivating Place: Conversations on Natural History and the Human Impulse to Garden,” to be broadcast each Thursday at 10:00 am.
