Hours and Admission

From January 26 through September 1, 2013, Gateway's hours will be:

Wednesday through Sunday:  OPEN noon to 5pm

Monday, Tuesday:  CLOSED

Gateway Science Museum will be CLOSED June 7 through June 9 for university electrical maintenance. Gateway will also be CLOSED on Thursday, July 4.

ADMISSION

Members: FREE
Adults (18 and older): $6
Children (3 - 17 years) and students with valid ID: $3
Children (2 and under): FREE

GROUP RATES & PARTIES

Gateway Science Museum welcomes Group Visits! The museum is pleased to offer the following rates and options for non-school groups of 15 – 30 people.  Groups of more than 30 will be split into multiple groups. Reservations AND PAYMENT IN FULL are required at least one week in advance.

$3 for Adults, $2 for children 12 and under. One adult for every 5 children is required for all group visits.

Group Tours

A 30-minute guided tour for groups of 15 – 20 people is available with a group reservation for an additional fee of $30. Maximum  group size is 20 people.

Gateway Science Museum is a great destination for children's birthday parties.

For groups of up to 12 children (aged 12 and under) and a minimum of 3 (maximum of 4) adult chaperones, a 2-hour Gateway party would include a docent tour guide through the gallery exhibits, a hands-on science activity for your group in the Education Station, and small gift bag with for each child. While there is no food or drink allowed in the museum, parties are welcome to use the tables in the back garden, or the amphitheater to gather and have snacks. Downtown restaurants are also within easy walking distance. Extra adults are welcome with paid admission. Cost: $150. Reservations are subject to availability AND PAYMENT IN FULL is required at least one week in advance.
