Our campus has been engaged in an extended consultative process focused on the revision of the General Education program at Chico State. Below is documentation that was generated during previous phases of this project. These documents are here as a resource for faculty, staff and students to review work.

All faculty, staff and students have access to this site to view documents posted there. If you would like to start a separate folder for a specific project (redesign of a course or courses or formation of a Pathway) contact the GE Implementation Team at: GEimplementationTeam@csuchico.edu.

Below are Templates and Rubrics for proposing GE curricular innovations/revisions including possible Pathways, new/revised Foundations and American Institutions courses, CourseLINKS, etc. There is also a Request for Proposals form to create Faculty Learning Communities around these tasks, with modest stipends available to faculty. Please download the documents you find relevant to your efforts. When complete, forward these to the GE Implementation Team for feedback or other appropriate action.
