GEOP Vacancy Announcement

The Department of Geography and Planning invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level to start August 2015. 

The position requires Ph.D. in Geography or closely related field at time of appointment.  The successful candidate is expected to teach cartography and GIS courses at all levels and statistical methods.  Prefer expertise in geovisualization, geospatial database development, spatial and temporal analysis and modeling (big data analytics), and Web-based GIS and mobile computing/location-based services.  The full position announcement is available HERE.
