Joey Kochlacs

WWOOF! Our former student Joey Kochlacs (Spring 2012 graduate) is currently working on an organic farm in Switzerland while sleeping in France...

it's a 7 minute walk across the border to the town he stays in-- Chens-sur-Léman which lays on the south side of Lake Geneva.  WWOOF stands for World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms where one can sign up to volunteer on an organic farm which then WWOOF hosts offer food, accommodation and opportunities to learn about organic lifestyles.  The program was started in 1971 in the UK and has been growing ever since, with WWOOFing opportunities available in over 30 countries.  Check out Joey's Blog to track him in his six month journey throughout Europe working on various organic farms. http://wwoofjoeyabroad.blogspot.com/?view=magazine.
