Volunteer Opportunity
Volunteer opportunity for students interested in job experience in GIS.
Looking for 1-3 capable individuals that have completed at a minimum intro to GIS that would like to volunteer their time to develop their skill and be more proficient in GIS. Looking for people that could volunteer 2-3 days a week from now to the end of the spring semester (May 2013). The volunteer site would be in Oroville, CA. Some of the skills that they would acquire from this learning experience would be orthorectifying aerial photos, mosaic orthorectified aerial photos, digitizing, using change detection and possibly more. We cannot offer any form of money (i.e. stipend) to the volunteer(s). The only thing we can offer is a learning experience in GIS.
