CalGIS 2015: 21st Annual California GIS Conference

The Northern California Chapter of  Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) is pleased to announce that it will award five (5) scholarships to cover the student registration fee at the 21st Annual CalGIS Conference to be held in Sacramento June 1-3, 2015. Information about this conference may be found here: http://www.urisa.org/education-events/calgis-conference/ The winners will be selected randomly from the pool of all eligible candidates who enter by 12 noon (Pacific Time) on May 8, and the winners will be will be contacted by phone and/or email by May 11, 2015

Eligibility Requirements for this CalGIS 2015 Conference Scholarship: must be a currently-enrolled student in a college or university; must be a student member of the NorCal chapter of URISA; must have completed or be currently enrolled in coursework in GIS; must live, work, or attend school within the NorCal URISA Chapter represented area.

Once selected, the recipients will be asked to provide electronically an unofficial copy of their transcript and proof of current enrollment to the Board. Upon verification of eligibility the Board will register the successful candidates for the conference. This award can only be used for the conference registration. The winners will have to provide their own transportation, food, and lodging.
