Chicano Studies
The minor in Chicano Studies provide students insight into the experience of people of Mexican origin people in the United States.
Taught as an interdisciplinary field of study, it provides students with the historical, cultural, economic, and political contributions of Chicanas and Chicanos.
In our diverse state, the minor can be used to provide students with vital background for employment in various occupations such as teachers, social workers, or community activists.
