Lisa Buschmann
Project Administrator for all projects.
Lisa Buschmann is the primary administrator and provides daily oversight of the programs. Ms. Buschmann is currently ABD, finishing her Ph.D. in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching with specialties in ES/Fl and French. She holds a master’s degree in Teaching International Languages with an emphasis on teaching ES/FL and French and has vast experience of working with and teaching international students.
Currently, she teaches “Methods for Second Language Teaching” in the Master’s program at CSU, Chico’s Department of Education. In addition, she has served as program manager on two Education Reform Projects: Impact of Standards on Curriculum and Assessment for Egyptian Educators.
In previous years, Ms. Buschmann has participated in the TEA “Excellence in Teaching” programs as an ESL Instructor and the coordinator of the ESL Instructors. She has extensive experience abroad teaching linguistics most recently at the University of Paris. Ms. Buschmann has consistently demonstrated her organizational and communication skills and received top rating for her management style and interpersonal relations. Her primary responsibilities include oversight of day-to-day operations, coordination of trainers, and general well being of the participants.
