Welcome to International Professional Training Programs
International Trainings at CSU, Chico provides opportunities for interaction and exchanges with the community on three important levels; local, national and international. More specifically the unit offers customized training options for international professionals in any number of disciplines onsite in Chico for 3-6 weeks to attend seminars, site visits to relevant organizations, meet professional counterparts, Experience America through home visits, tours to mountains, Sacramento and San Francisco. Some programs include exchanges i.e. local teachers traveling abroad, international teachers visiting local schools and sharing best practices.
International Trainings also has hosted joint US and international teacher conferences on the CSU, Chico campus. The focus in all of the customized training programs is to increase understanding among nations, to provide opportunities for professional development, and to increase community interaction on a global scale.
