Prospective Students


CSU, Chico is proud to offer a wide variety of programs to you. There are over 300 CSU, Chico students abroad each year.


To start the Study Abroad process, follow the steps below:


Pick up Pamphlets and Brochures in the Study Abroad Resource Room, Tehama Hall, 212-A.


Attend a Study Abroad Information Session:


(Information Sessions are offered multiple times a week except holidays, breaks and the last two weeks of each semester):


Please Contact the Study Abroad Office in THMA 212-A for times and locations.


Attend one of these sessions to find out:


  • What study abroad programs and sites are available through CSU, Chico
  • How to get classes to count toward your major, minor and/or G.E.
  • How to finance your semester or year abroad
  • The best majors, minors and Upper Division Themes for Study Abroad
  • The application process for each program

Make an appointment to meet with a Study Abroad Adviser:


You MUST attend an Information Session BEFORE you meet with us!


  • First time students sign up on the sheet in Tehama Hall, 212-A
  • If you have already met with us once, simply ask one of the Student Assistants in Tehama Hall, 212-A to assist you in making an appointment.
