Admission Requirements
The first step is qualifying for graduate admission at California State University, Chico. This includes:
1. Holding a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution or an equivalent approved by the School of Graduate, International, and Sponsored Programs.
2. Having a baccalaureate grade point average of over 3.0 (on a scale of A = 4.0) in the last 30 semester units attempted and 2.75 in the last 60 semester units attempted.
The second step is qualifying for admission to the Master of Arts in Teaching International Languages program.
1. Hold a baccalaureate in English or a foreign language or in another discipline that has the prior approval of the Graduate Coordinator.
2. Meet with the Graduate Coordinator to determine a plan of study.
