Volunteer Tutoring
CSU, Chico's Center for Nutrition and Activity Promotion offers English as a Second Language classes empasizing healthy eating and activity. Classes are 1 1/2 hours long, twice a week and held in the evenings and weekends. Volunteers are wanted to help with tutoring. Volunteers are asked to commit to tutoring at least one class for the semester. For more information, contact Karen Goodwin at kgoodwin@csuchico.edu.
The CSU Consortium for the Strategic Language Initiative (SLI) Program
This CSU consortium program provides opportunities for intermediate-level students and heritage learners to study Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Persian, or Russian. The program includes a 6-week language immersion program in the summer, online study during the school year, and a summer study abroad immersion program the next summer.

Zeppelin University (Germany) International Spring School
A one-week study experience on current global issues for outstanding bachelor students!
Zeppelin University is looking for 70 creative brains from all over the world who are interested in dealing intensively with topics from the areas business, culture, communication, literature, and politics. The aim of this week’s program is to take part in seminars that look into current questions of the sciences – together with internationally outstanding scholars, students of ZU as well as students from all over the world. Zeppelin covers the tuition and lodging for admitted students.

Glimpse Correspondents Program
The Glimpse Correspondents Program encourages participants to engage with people from other cultures and to seek out thought-provoking experiences. Correspondents receive a $600 stipend, a professional editor, career training in writing and photography, guaranteed publication on Glimpse.org, and potential publication in National Geographic platforms. Travel the World and Earn College Credits with Camp Adventure
Camp Adventure Child and Youth Services is looking to hire CSU, Chico students who are interested in working with youth around the world and the United States. Camp Adventure will pay you $1,500 for a 10 week camp, pay for housing and airfare, as well as give you 12 College Credits.
