Funding for Graduate Student Research and Conference
The Office of Graduate Studies will award ten $500.00 small grants in 2010 and 2011 to enhance graduate student research.
Current graduate students may apply for funds for conference presentation and travel or research (e.g. travel to libraries, purchase of equipment) within the United States. Funds must be used in the period from fall 2010-summer 2011.

Application Process:Submit a two-page justification stating how the funds will enhance your research and specifically how they will be spent.
State the intent to apply for the Pre-Doctoral Program in spring 2011 or spring 2012. Information on the Pre-Doctoral Program may be found at http://calstate.edu/PreDoc/
Include a brief letter of support for your research project or presentation from your graduate advisor.
Submit all Materials to Sara Trechter at strechter@csuchico.edu
Review of applications will begin October 1, 2010 and will continue until funds are exhausted.
