Human Subjects and Animal Use in Research

Research involving humans or animals is governed by policies of the Human Subjects in Research Committee and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee. All proposals for research using human or animal subjects must be reviewed and approved by the applicable committee before the research begins. Graduate Students are encouraged to seek guidance from their graduate coordinator in completing the Human Subjects and Animal Use Applications. Please note the deadlines for application and plan ahead, leaving enough time for revision and resubmission of your application prior to the proposed start date of your research.
