Student Research Competition - Competition and Application dates have been extended!! Apply Now!!

 

The Twenty-Sixth Annual CSUC Student Research Competition will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 (application deadline Monday, February 27, 2012 by 4 p.m.). This local event, held in the Student Service Center room 150, gives Chico State students(undergrad and graduate) an opportunity to present their research before a panel of judges and members of the campus community.  From these participants, as many as ten entrants will be selected to participate at the prestigious statewide competition that will be held in May 2012 (all expenses paid).  Cash awards will be given to the outstanding presenter and runner up in each category of the statewide competition.

In an attempt to reach more students, the Office of Graduate Studies requests your assistance promoting the event in your department and amongst your faculty and students.  For detailed information on application deadlines and required paperwork for the local competition please refer to our website or contact Lisa Bernal-Wood at lbernal-wood@csuchico.edu.  Student Research Competition is financed with IRA funds.
