Funding for Graduate Student Research and Conference

The Office of Graduate Studies will award twelve $500.00 small grants in 2011 and 2012 to enhance graduate student research.

Current graduate students may apply for funds for conference presentation and travel or research (e.g. travel to libraries, purchase of equipment) within the United States.

Fund must be used in the period from fall 2011-summer 2012.

Application Process: (Closed for the Spring 2012 semester)

Submit a two-page justification stating how the funds will enhance your research and specifically how they will be spent.

State the intent to apply for the Pre-Doctoral Program in spring 2012 or spring 2013. Information on Pre-Doctoral Program may be found at http://calstate.edu/PreDoc/

Include a brief letter of support for your research project or presentation from your graduate advisor.

Funds for this grant have been exhausted for the Spring 2012 semester. If you are interested in this grant, application acceptance will re-start Fall 2012.
