Scholarships

California State University, Chico provides merit and scholarship awards to deserving students for graduate studies and many go unfilled. Each year the number and size of these awards vary according to annual endowment earnings, contributions to scholarship funds, and applicant qualifications. Scholarships are provided based on a variety of criteria including academic merit, financial need, participation in clubs and activities, volunteer and community involvement, major and career goals, etc. More information is available at the Financial Aid & Scholarship Office.

Grant Opportunities

Graduate students are encouraged to apply for research, travel, and study grants to support graduate level research. Each month, the Graduate School sends monthly graduate student announcements to all enrolled students. These announcements include a section on grant opportunities. Students are also encouraged to take advantage of CSU, Chico's Internal Research Grants.
