Fraternity and Sorority Affairs

Fraternity and Sorority Affairs

Student paraprofessionals.

Welcome to the California State University, Chico Fraternity and Sorority Affairs website. There are 30 fraternities and sororities under the supervision of the Office of Student Life and Leadership. Each fraternity or sorority belongs to one of the three governing councils: the Interfraternity Council (IFC), the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC), and the College Panhellenic Council (CPC), which makes up approximately 7 percent of the Chico State student population. All fraternities and sororities were founded on similar values such as academics, service, sisterhood/brotherhood, philanthropy, leadership, civic engagement, integrity, and more.

How to Join

Interested in joining a fraternity or sorority chapter? All potential new members (PNM) are required to attend the council’s recruitment process to learn how to join a chapter.
