Greek Councils

United Greek Council

All CSU, Chico recognized fraternities and sororities belong to a governing council. These councils encourage accountability, collaboration, and self-governess between chapters. The United Greek Council (UGC) encompasses all of our recognized Greek organizations and is charged with supporting collaboration between all three councils.

Panhellenic Council

The Panhellenic Council is the governing body for all five National Panhellenic Council (NPC) sororities on the California State University, Chico campus and unites every sorority woman, regardless of individual affiliation. Together the council members strive for overall Greek unity, while working to unite the sorority women and strengthen their values through cooperation, common interest, talents, and skills brought from each chapter. Panhellenic provides many opportunities for involvement in campus life and also in the Greek community outside of one's individual sorority.

Multicultural Greek Council (MGC)

The mission of the Multicultural Greek Council at California State University, Chico is to provide an environment where Greek-letter organizations can collaborate, communicate, and support each other. Through respect, diversity, and equality we unite to achieve common goals: to further academic excellence, serve the community, and build strong leaders for tomorrow.

Interfraternity Council (IFC)

The IFC is a governing body for fraternities on campus. The IFC is comprised of an Executive Council made up of members from different fraternities and the president of each fraternity recognized by the IFC. In addition to the great efforts put fourth by the individual chapters, the IFC promotes unity with collective efforts in community service, philanthropy, athletics, and recruitment.
