The motto of an Alpha Sig is “To Better the Man,” and it is this philosophy that we built our organization around. We believe that the collegiate years are transformational, and that the growth we all experience in our time as undergraduates is exponential in its potential. The goal of our organization is to enable our membership to grow from young men, eager to test their ability and develop their leadership capabilities, by pushing members towards accomplishing goals they set for themselves as well as goals set by the chapter. Because of this culture within Alpha Sig, members continuously push each other to achieve scholastically, expand socially, contribute in the community, and in any way that positive growth for the member may be fostered.

By seeking this special type of individual that continuously seeks self-improvement, we have achieved in areas that we never established as goals for Alpha Sig…but were certainly fun along the way.

As Alpha Sigs, we believe in the potential in the Greek community, and we believe that there isn’t a more exciting time to be a part of it as right now, when so many Greeks alike are striving to make a lasting impact on this campus.
