Intern with Green Campus
Our organization identifies and reduces energy waste on campus through improvements in energy use behaviors, student purchasing decisions and operations changes. The Alliance to Save Energy and Pacific Gas & Electric fund Green Campus, but the program also relies heavily on student involvement.
One way to become involved is through an internship. The one unit to three unit internships offered by Green Campus will help you build your resume and gain experience in the environmental field.
The one unit internships allow students to choose among working with four environmental groups at Chico State. At the beginning of each week, students can decide to work with Green Campus, Associated Students Recycling and A.S. Sustainability or the Environmental Action and Resource Center.
The two unit to three unit internships let students work directly with Green Campus' five staff members. Interns create and coordinate energy awareness and conservation projects.
