Vic Sbarbaro has a B.A. degree in Biological Sciences from UC, Davis, a M.A. in Recreation & Parks Management from CSU, Chico, a Single-subject Teaching Credential from CSU, Chico, a Doctoral degree in Education from the University of Southern California, and is a Certified Health Education Specialist; a Water Safety Instructor Trainer; a Lifeguard Training Instructor Trainer; and a CPR Instructor/Instructor Trainer. Vic Sbarbaro has been teaching for the Department of Health & Community Services (1988-present). Courses taught include HCSV 15 (Emergency Care & Personal Safety), HCSV 10 (Promotion Wellness/Personal Health), and HCSV 260 & 261 (Health Education for the Elementary & Secondary School Teacher).  Vic Sbarbaro also teaches for the Department of Education & the Department of Physical Education, (Sociocultural Issues in American Education, Bilingual Multicultural Education, Intermediate & Individual Progression Swimming, Lifeguard Training and Water Safety Instruction.)
