Jim Suver is the CEO of Ridgecrest Regional Hospital. Prior to that he served as Administrator/Vice-President of Operations for Petaluma Valley Hospital, a ministry of the St. Joesph's Health System and before that as administrator/CEO at Biggs-Gridley Memorial Hospital. He is a 1983 Chico State Business Administration Graduate. Mr. Suver also has a Masters in Health Administration from the University of Southern California. He taught in USC*s Health Administration program for ten years. He is an instructor in the Chico State Health Administration major including healthcare finance, healthcare operations management and healthcare administration capstone. His work history includes Sutter Health and Catholic Healthcare West in addition to nine years at Fremont-Rideout Health Group in various positions.
In addition to his hospital work and teaching at Chico, he farms Kiwi*s and Walnuts out of Gridley. He is the third generation in his family to have graduated from Chico State.
