Attendance with posted messages on the Class Bulletin Board is expected at least once per week. To receive credit, please have each week's discussion posted no later than midnight on Sunday (end of that week). Any postings that contain inflammatory or inappropriate language will be deleted by the instructor.
Written communication with your instructor and your classmates is expected to contain correct grammar, punctuation and spelling.
CPR Certification1. American Red Cross: Community CPR cardMany organizations in most communities offer these courses. For a course on campus, call the Staff Council Office, x6156, to reserve a space. Or, call your local American Red Cross, American Heart Association, ambulance service or hospital to inquire about these classes. The cost ranges from $10.00 to $25.00 and includes the book. Register early. If you have a current INFANT, CHILD AND ADULT CPR card, photocopy it and send it in. Then, you are done with this requirement. Failure to meet this requirement will result in an incomplete. |
Student grades are determined by the total points earned in the semester as follows:
900 - 1000
points = A
800 - 899 points = B
700 - 799 points =
C
600 - 699 points = D
below 600 points =
F
