Internationally renowned trombonist Joseph Alessi, principal trombonist with the New York Philharmonic, solos with the Chico State Band. In a classic tale of local-boy-makes-good, Alessi grew up in Northern California and was a 4-time member of the California All-State Honor Band. Selections include George Washington Bridge by William Schumann.
