College of Humanities and Fine Arts: Venue Reservation Request Information

The College of Humanities and Fine Arts houses several auditoriums that vary in size, functionality and technical capabilities.

If you would like to request to reserve a space in the Performing Arts Center or Arts & Humanities building, please go to the Facilities Reservation Office at http://www.csuchico.edu/fres/index.shtml. Depending on the needs of your event, you will need to download and fill out either:

Once you have completed the correct form for your reservation request, please submit it to fres@csuchico.edu.

When requesting a venue reservation, please consider the following guidelines.

  • Fill out the form as completely as possible. This ensures the best venue match for the event.
  • Include event specifics such as ticket fees, number of attendees, requests for tables, chairs, microphones, etc.
  • Include a detailed description of the event with information about speakers, presentation requirements, etc.
  • Include accurate contact information for the faculty or staff member responsible for the event.

Once Facilities Reservations has received the request, they will forward it to the College of Humanities and Fine Arts Production Manager, Carmen Gomez. Prior to a reservation approval, the Production Manager for Humanities and Fine Arts will schedule a required meeting to discuss the full event details. This requirement will ensure that all event needs are compatible with the requested Humanities and Fine Arts venue and staff availability. Upon event approval, Humanities and Fine Arts will coordinate with Facilities Reservations to finalize the event request. The event contact will continue to coordinate venue specific needs through the completion of the event with the Production Manager for Humanities and Fine Arts, Carmen Gomez.
