Assessment

During the 2005-2006 academic year the History Department established program goals for its majors and adopted a set of seven Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) that would demonstrate achievement of these objectives. The History Department also has developed and will implement a Program Assessment Plan to measure student performance in relation to its Student Learning Outcomes starting in August 2007. History faculty assessed SLOs #1 and #2 in the 2006 spring and fall semesters, respectively. SLO #5 received evaluation during spring 2007.
