Research Interests

Professor Archer’s current research focuses upon the history of Cold War America, with particular emphasis on the Beat Generation, the counterculture, and radical writers, artists, and musicians of the 1960s and 1970s. He also is examining issues related to American sports and society.

Publications

Professor Archer has written several book reviews on cultural topics related to the 1950s and 1960s.
