Have your next conference at CSU, Chico and experience all the wonderful things the town and University have to offer.
CSU Chico Conference Services offers convenient and affordable on-campus housing and dining for youth and adult groups, including individuals during summer orientation or summer session. Guests are housed in traditional residence halls and meals are served at Sutter Residential Dining Center. We have housed an array of diverse groups, such as Upward Bound and Summer Bridge, International groups from South Africa and China, adult education groups youth sports and much more.
Conference Desk Services
The Whitney Hall Desk is open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. most days for conference business, and we also have an "on-call" staff desk assistant on the premises at all times.
The following services are available at the front desk:
- Directory information for campus and community services
- Message/mail service
- Report any maintenance or custodial problems
- Sports equipment/pool equipment checkout

Custodial and Linen
The custodial staff in each residence hall maintains all public areas and provides linen service for some conference groups. Weekly exchange of linen is free of charge if you purchase the linen package.
Linen package includes: sheet set, pillow, blanket, and towel.
Card-operated washers and dryers are available in each residence hall. Laundry cards may be purchased at the add-value station in the residence hall lobby. Money can be added to these cards in $5 increments and can not be refunded.
If you wish to receive mail by contacting Natalie Gebicke at the University Housing and Food Service office (530-898-6325) to be added to a mailing list.
Incoming mail is held in the Central Housing Office. A desk attendant will notify you if you receive a package.
Our meals consist of hot and cold entrées, a vegetarian entrée, salad and sandwich bars, fresh fruit, desserts, and beverages.
Parking is not included in your overnight stay; permits may be purchased at the Student Financial Services office or from a parking permit dispenser in the "G" parking lots. Parking without a permit or in any other area besides the stadium lot may result in a parking fine. Permits are not valid in metered areas or the Student Health Center parking lot. Vehicles parking overnight must display a "G" permit and park in the "B" lot by North Campus (Esken, Mechoopda, and Konkow Halls).
We offer a variety if different sports equipment that may be checked out, including:
- Ping pong paddles and balls
- Billiard balls and cue sticks
- Board games
Conference Guests may reserve equipment by contacting the Summer Conference Reference Desk.
