CSU, Chico Conference Services offers convenient and affordable on-campus housing and dining services for youth and adult groups, as well as for individuals during the summer period of June 6, 2014–August 2, 2014. Guests are housed in traditional residence halls and meals are served at Sutter Residential Dining Center. Please contact Natalie Gebicke for more information. The Conference Hall Desk is open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. most days for conference business, and we also have an "on-call" staff person on the premises at all times.
The following services are available at the front desk:
- Directory information for campus and community services
- Message/mail service
- Report any maintenance or custodial problems
- Sports equipment/pool equipment checkout
- Wake up calls
The conference front desk in the residence hall lobbies may be used to place on-campus calls only. Ask the customer service representative to assist you. There are no phones in the rooms.
The custodial staff in each residence hall maintains all public areas and provides linen service for some conference groups. Weekly exchange of linen is free of charge if you purchase the linen package. Speak with the conference front desk for specifics.
Card–operated washers and dryers are available in each residence hall. Laundry cards may be purchased at the add–value station in the residence hall lobby. Money can be added to these cards in $5 increments and can not be refunded. Lassen and Shasta Hall laundry facilities only acceps debit cards.
You may receive mail by contactingthe Assistant Conference Coordinator at the University Housing & Food Service office (530-898-6325) to be added to a mailing list.
Incoming mail is held at the Summer Conference Hall Desk.
Parking on campus is by permit only. Parking is not included in your overnight stay and permits may be purchased at the Student Financial Services office or from a parking permit dispenser in the "G" parking lots. Parking without a permit or in any other area besides the stadium lot may result in a parking fine. Permits are not valid in metered areas or the Student Health Center parking lot. Vehicles parking overnight must display a "G" permit and park in the "B" lot by North Campus (Esken, Mechoopda, and Konkow Halls). Summer Conferences is not responsible for any tickets received by guests for parking violations.

Conference Guests may reserve spaces to equipment by contacting the Summer Conference Hall Desk.
Meals served allow you to select from a variety of hot and cold entrées, a vegetarian entrée, salad and sandwich bars, fresh fruit, desserts, and beverages.

Guests staying in the residence halls are expected to abide by all University and Residence Hall policies. These policies have been established in the interest of assuring that our diverse community of summer guests has a safe and enjoyable visit to our campus.
- The use and/or possession of alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the CSU, Chico campus. This includes in and around the residence halls unless an alcohol permit is obtained.
- Quiet hours are from 9:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.
- Non-registered guests may not stay in the residence halls.
- All youth guests are expected to follow curfews that are established by group leaders.
- Smoking is prohibited in the residence halls and within 25 feet of residence hall entrances.
